Bidding on Auctions
- Place bids on items you want — your bid is a commitment to buy if you win
- Use Auto Bid to set your maximum and let Soomi.nz bid for you automatically
- Watch for 'No Reserve' listings — the highest bidder always wins
- Check the reserve status — 'Reserve Met' means the item will sell
- You'll be notified if you're outbid so you can bid again
Asking Questions
- Use the Q&A section on listings to ask the seller questions
- Questions and answers are public, helping all potential buyers
- Ask about condition, size, shipping options, or anything unclear
- You can also message sellers directly for private enquiries
Staying Safe
- Check the seller's profile, level, and badges before buying
- Read the listing description carefully, including any noted flaws
- For local pickups, meet in safe public places
- Keep all communication on Soomi.nz for your records
- Report any suspicious listings or behaviour
After You Win
- Contact the seller to arrange payment and delivery
- Agree on shipping method or pickup arrangements
- Inspect items carefully when you receive them
- Complete the transaction promptly
